Abbey
Peer Support Group Facilitator
Abbey currently co-facilitates peer support groups at Anxiety New Zealand.

Abbey (she/her) has grown up in Tāmaki Mākaurau, Auckland, and spent six years in Te-Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington, before returning home. She has a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Psychology and is continuing her studies in psychology. Abbey has over five years' experience facilitating groups in a mental health and wellbeing context and working and volunteering with charities.

Abbey joined Anxiety New Zealand Trust as a Peer Support Group Facilitator in May 2023, and currently co-facilitates the Tuesday North Shore, Saturday Social Anxiety, and Thursday Women's Balance Peer Support Groups. Abbey values the lived experiences of others and is passionate about walking alongside people in their journeys.
