🔽 Choose the option that fits your situation

1. I want support for myself (self‑referral)

Therapy and peer support groups are collaborative processes engaged with over time.  Therapy involves a series of sessions to help understand what’s going on, build skills, and make meaningful progress towards your goals.

Specialist Mental Health GP assessment and medication are available alongside therapy to support a course of therapy for ages 18+ (please note our limited GP service is reserved for people engaging in therapy at our service only).

FAQS
How we match you with the right clinician?

Your referral is carefully read by our triage team. We consider:

  • What you’re experiencing (e.g., anxiety, panic, phobias, stress, OCD, low mood)

  • Your goals and what you’re hoping to change

  • Any preferences you have

  • Which clinician is best suited to your needs

  • Availability and the earliest suitable appointment time

Our aim is to match you with the right clinician, not just the next available one — so you receive support that truly fits your situation.

How long will I have to wait?

Our wait times can vary throughout the year depending on demand. Typically, you can expect:

  • Suitability calls: available within 1–2 weeks

  • Therapy appointments: often a wait (exact time can vary), but we’ll tell you what to expect upfront

  • Peer Support Groups: longer waitlists

  • Helpline: immediate support anytime

We know waiting for support can feel hard. We prioritise transparency so you know where you are in the process and what to expect next.
