Holly began her journey with Anxiety New Zealand in 2014, volunteering on our 0800 Anxiety Helpline and working at reception in our clinic while completing her Master’s degree in Health Psychology through Massey University. During this time, she developed a strong foundation in mental health support and remained a dedicated volunteer with the Helpline for nearly a decade, continuing her involvement until moving overseas in 2023.
Over the years, Holly has worked across a diverse range of roles in Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific, gaining experience in sexual health, suicide prevention, mental health and addiction services, and gender-based violence prevention. These roles have deepened her understanding of the complex and interconnected challenges individuals and communities face.
Now back with Anxiety New Zealand, Holly has stepped into the role of Helpline Manager. She is excited to return to this mahi, supporting our mission and leading our team of volunteers as they provide vital information, care, and support to individuals and whānau living with anxiety.
