Jodie
Registered Intern Psychologist
Jodie is a registered intern psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a proud member of the New Zealand Psychological Society and the New Zealand Association of Positive Psychology.

Passionate about supporting adults aged 25 and older, Jodie works with people and whānau living with anxiety, depression, work-related stress, and existential concerns. She is deeply committed to cultural sensitivity and creating a safe, inclusive environment where clients can explore challenges, embrace their identities, and build resilience and personal growth.

Currently in her seventh year of study at Auckland University of Technology, Jodie is on track to achieve full registration as a counselling psychologist. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques. She also integrates holistic therapies to promote overall wellbeing.

Jodie’s warm, person-centred, and solutions-focused style empowers clients to connect with their values, identify obstacles, explore solutions, and take meaningful steps toward their goals. She is dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth, ensuring her work is informed by the latest research and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
