Mio practices a pluralistic approach, with person-centred therapy as her foundational modality. Her practice emphasizes collaboration and empowerment, dedicating herself to creating a safe, non-possessive, and warm environment for her clients.

Originally from China, Mio has spent nearly a decade in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Her previous roles involved close community interaction, which enriched her understanding of cultural diversity. These cross-cultural experiences have not only provided her with valuable insights but also inspired her to achieve cultural competency in the therapeutic process.

Mio is an advocate for social justice, eager to utilize her knowledge and skills to support especially women, refugees, migrants, and the Rainbow communities. She aims to help her clients empower themselves to make positive changes towards their future.
