She offers a warm, empathetic and non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore the challenges they are experiencing and better understand factors that may be contributing.
Tali is a registered psychologist in New Zealand and Australia and a full member of the New Zealand Psychological Society. Tali works collaboratively with each client to understand their individual goals and needs, as well as tuning in to their personal strengths and skills. She works primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach while also drawing on aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Schema Therapy where it suits the needs of her clients.
Tali works with clients experiencing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and life transitions. She has a special interest in supporting women and men experiencing perinatal anxiety and depression, and those dealing more generally with the change and uncertainty that may accompany the transition to parenthood.
Tali believes that authenticity and mutual respect are central to the therapeutic journey.
