Tania is a Mental Health Clinician and Behaviour Specialist dedicated to enhancing wellbeing through collaborative, person-centred, and holistic support. At Anxiety NZ, Tania uses evidence-based therapies (ACT, CBT, SFT, PBS) and creative modalities like art and play therapy, mindfulness, and sensory techniques. With a neurodiversity-affirming perspective, Tania supports autistic and ADHD clients, individuals aged six through adulthood, families, and couples, focusing on anxiety, OCD, identity, relational challenges, trauma, grief, life transitions, and behavioural complexities.
Holding degrees in psychology and counselling, and certification in Functional Behavioural Assessment, Tania has experience in mental health triage, brain injury rehabilitation, and acute mental health settings. With Explore Hāpainga Ora, Tania works with people with complex behavioural needs, drawing on broad experience across mental health, education, and disability sectors.
Committed to ongoing professional development and empathetic support, Tania values self-care and enjoys time in nature with her tamariki and mokopuna.
