How Do You Know When to Seek Support for Your Child?
As we discussed in the "Talking About Anxiety with Your Kids" video, we know that anxiety is a natural feeling of worry or fear that happens when we sense a challenge or threat. It's part of being human and is actually meant to help keep us safe. However, if you notice that your child's anxiety is becoming excessive or persistent, consider discussing your concerns with your doctor.
Additionally, communicating with your child's school; collaborating with teachers and staff can help create a supportive environment that aids in managing their anxiety.
A first port of call when seeking support for anxiety is your GP/doctor.

It's important to know that almost all of us will experience mental distress in our lifetime, so we are far from alone in our experience. Anxiety is something we can work through with effective strategies.
