About Maggie

As Grants Specialist at Anxiety NZ, Maggie helps secure the funding that keeps vital mental health services running and accessible to those who need them most. She finds it deeply rewarding to tell the story of the organisation’s work and to build meaningful connections with funders who care about mental wellbeing.

Maggie has been working and volunteering in the not-for-profit sector since 2012 and holds a Master’s degree in International Relations. She brings experience in proposal writing, reporting, and securing funding from a wide range of funders, both public and private.

Her background has given her a strong understanding of the challenges community organisations face, and she is passionate about using her skills to support services that make a real and lasting difference in people’s lives. Maggie was drawn to Anxiety NZ because she believes everyone deserves access to mental health support that is inclusive, responsive, and empowering.

Outside of work, Maggie enjoys swimming, spending time with her two children and wider whānau, and planning her next holiday.
